Father's House

"A Father to the fatherless is our God"

The Father's House was born out of the passion of a Ukrainian pastoring couple in Dniprozerzhinsk who saw the great need of many orphans to be in a family home setting.  An apartment was donated to them and they began bringing orphans there for weekends to have a timeout away from the orphanage and experience homelife.  From this beginning several orphans were chosen to live at the Father's House after their graduation from the orphanage and while they continued their education in colleges and in trade schools.  Love Ukraine financially assists the Father's house by providing a part of the salary for the houseparent, and expenses for the girls who live fulltime in Father's House.  We also help with certain with certain other needs as they arise.  Along with the girls who live there fulltime every weekend finds many other orphans visiting and enjoying a timeout away from the orphanage.

We hope this is the first of many Father's Houses in Dniprozerzhinsk.

Joy unspeakable  full of glory can be seen on the faces of the orphans who get to be at Father's House.

Olga, age 18, has lived in the Father's House for 4 years while she has continued her education.  She studies well and is very committed to God.  She also has a ministry to drug addicts and alcoholics who live on the street.  Every week she goes to where they live and brings food and the love of God to them.  As a result of her influence several women have willingly entered a local rehab.  Olga prays for these women, visits them and finds clothes and other supplies they need.  She knows that God has called her to serve Him all her days.  God has a great plan for Olga and through Father's House and the love that is there, she is reaching her destiny.

This is Tamara, the house mother for Father's House.  She had a very old refrigerator and it was inadequate for the their needs,  So Love Ukraine bought her a new frost-free one as well as a sewing machine that was badly needed.

This is a view of how small Tamara's old refrigerator was and why she needed a new one.  She has a big family to feed and it is such a joy to have her taking care of the kids.  Love Ukraine is so thankful for her.
